Chamberlain Group’s myQ and Crestron receive integration for smart garage control

myQ driver for Crestron Home OS provides homeowners with greater control

Chamberlain Group and Crestron have jointly announced an integration that allows homeowners to control the myQ smart access solution from their Crestron Home platform. The new myQ driver for Crestron Home OS provides control of myQ powered garage door and gate openers, as well as select lighting devices.

myQ turns any garage into a smart garage by:

  • Allowing users to open, close, and control access to the garage door from anywhere.
  • Enhancing home security: providing real-time alerts that let users know when the garage door opens and if it was left open, or scheduling when the garage door closes each night.
  • Making it easy and secure to share access to your home. With myQ, users can remotely control access for friends, family, or service providers without the need to share keys or pin codes.

“We are incredibly excited about our new partnership with Chamberlain Group, bringing the power of myQ into the Crestron Home ecosystem, further promoting our open ecosystem philosophy, and providing our customers with the best solutions from across the entire smart home landscape,” said Michael Short, senior director of residential marketing at Crestron. “We are truly delighted at this partnership, which allows us to offer even more value and innovation to our customers while expanding the reach of myQ to a wider audience.”
