Hauppauge, N.Y. — Voxx Electronics began shipping its 2014 Prestige vehicle-security and remote-start systems, which double the operating range up to 2,500 feet in some models and feature smaller control modules for easier installation in tight places.
The line also features what Voxx called “some of the slimmest transmitters in the market.”
All-new transmitter designs include some of the industry’s thinnest at 0.38 inches. Besides boosting range, the new systems provide improved performance and programming enhancements, such as web-based programming to save time, the company said.
The new control modules are 35 percent smaller than before.
