New cases and accessories are planned from Mobile Edge this month.
The company is expanding its lineup with its new SmartPack Collection. Designed to protect both a laptop and a tablet, the SmartPack is billed as a no-nonsense backpack for people who value a case that puts protection first. Ergonomically designed and lightweight, the SmartPack not only offers laptop and tablet protection, but provides ample space for books, files and accessories needed to stay productive, the company said.
The padded and moisture-wicking ventilated back panel, thick shoulder straps, and carrying handle make carrying the bag for longer periods of time comfortable. The side mesh pockets are the precise size for water bottles. It also has a water-resistant and rugged 1680D nylon exterior. Designed to carry laptops with screens up to 15.6 inches, it comes complete with an additional MicroFiber lined pouch for a tablet.
SmartPack color choices include black (MEBPSP1), silver (MEBPSP2), blue (MEBPSP3), charcoal (MEBPSP5), red (MEBPSP7) and teal (MEBPSP9). Now shipping, SmartPack is priced at $59.99.
Mobile Edge is also again teaming up with Razer to create a new 15-inch Razer Tactical backpack — a smaller more compact version of the existing Razer Tactical backpack Pro.
Designed to take a beating, the Razer backpack is made from the same materials used for military flak jackets to protect its wearer from debris and fragmentation: thick, tightly woven robust ballistic nylon. It has a water-resistant, scratch and tear-proof exterior, and is designed to carry laptops up to 15.6 inches. It also comes with an additional MicroFiber lined pouch for a tablet.
Made to brave the harshest elements, the Razer Tactical backpack features military grade 1680D ballistic nylon and features integrated Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) webbing.
