LG’s 4K Projector Needs To Be Just 2 Inches From The Wall

Displays up to 120 inches when 7 inches away

LG will bring its second-generation ultra-short-throw CineBeam Laser 4K projector (model HU85L) to CES 2019.

The space-saving projector can be placed a little more than 2 inches from the wall to project a 90-inch diagonal image, while moving it 7 inches away allows it to project a 120-inch image.

It delivers 2,500 ANSI lumens and 4K Ultra HD resolution, while wide color gamut improves color accuracy. The inclusion of LG’s ThinQ technology enables users to operate the device using voice commands. Viewers can control the operation of the projector by saying, “Turn off projector after the movie has finished” or choose content by saying, “Play yoga videos on YouTube.”

The included Magic Remote also recognizes gestures and features backlit buttons that turn on automatically when motion is detected.
