Incipio Acquires ClamCase

Irvine, Calif. — Accessory manufacturer Incipio announced it has acquired ClamCase, a maker of iPad keyboards and peripherals.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Incipio noted in a statement that ClamCase is its third strategic acquisition, adding its growing portfolio of in-house and licensed brands. It purchased Braven in 2013.

Andy Fathollahi, Incipio chief executive, said: “This exciting acquisition stems from Incipio’s continuous commitment to offering our customers even better products to complement their mobile devices. With ClamCase as a member of the Incipio family, we look forward to growing the business by combining our established infrastructure and wide-ranging distribution channels with ClamCase’s premium product line and unsurpassed attention to detail.”

ClamCase keyboard cases will be available in select retailers nationwide this month with additional retailers in the coming months.
