Wall Township, N.J. — George Stohrer has left luxury majap distributor Eastern Marketing after a decade to strike out on his own.
The former sales director is launching his own sales rep company, Pr1me Marketing, with high-end range-maker Peerless-Premier as his first client.
Stohrer said his new company will specialize in the representation and promotion of indoor and outdoor kitchen products on the East Coast.
“Integrity, knowledge and passion are the words to live by at Pr1me. It’s always about listening to the customers’ needs and providing them with the tools to grow profitable sales in a competitive market,” he said.
Prior to Eastern Marketing, Stohrer was a key account manager at Maytag and Fisher & Paykel. He grew up in the business working at the family showroom, Stohrer’s Appliance, in Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.
Eastern Marketing president Marty Friedman praised Stohrer’s contributions to the company, which represents such ultra-premium majap brands as AGA, American Range, Bertazzoni, Heartland, Lynx and Marvel. CEO Craig Friedman has begun a search for a successor.
