The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) is showcasing digital living usage scenarios at RetailVision and explaining the consumer benefits of DLNA Certified products. DLNA has spent the past four years developing guidelines and certification protocols enabling networked interoperability among PC, CE and mobile devices. With millions of DLNA Certified products now in the marketplace, it said, the organization is providing retailers with educational and support materials explaining how these products can make digital living a reality for consumers.
Demonstrations will highlight usage scenarios from DLNA-member companies Hewlett-Packard, Nokia, Sony and Promise Technologies including: video from a digital media server that plays on a TV display using a digital media player, multimedia mobile device that sends and plays audio on a digital media player, multimedia mobile device that sends photos to a TV display using a digital media player, digital media server that sends video to a TV display using multiple digital media players, and multimedia mobile device that sends and plays music on multiple digital media players.
