DARTS (Digital Audio Reference Theater Systems) Theater is creating its own identity.
The hi-fi manufacturer, which was previously marketed as a product brand by Phase Technology, will now have its own logo, marketing, website, sales team and representative firms. Both DARTS and Phase are owned by MSE Audio.
Positive reviews to a recent redesign led to the decision to create a dedicated sales channel to support the new brand, according to the company.
Andy Lopez will be sales director, responsible for worldwide sales and marketing. Said Lopez in a statement: “The timing of the new brand coincides with the launch of our new products. The DARTS Theater brand will allow us to reach out to dealers, integrators and representative firms that are interested in offering digitally calibrated theaters to their clientele — without disruption to their current speaker offerings.”
The DARTS digital systems, which are manufactured in Florida, are available in four configurations: tower, freestanding, in-wall and custom box. Special orders are also available. Pricing ranges from $15,000 to $48,000.
