Bang & Olufsen has released a new, redesigned version of its Beosound A1 portable Bluetooth speaker. Created in collaboration with Danish designer Cecile Manz, the 3rd-gen Beosound AI features a new circular design and advanced acoustics. The new speaker is crafted from pearl-blasted aluminum, and is available in a Natural Aluminum colorway, as well as Honey Tone and Eucalyptus Green.

The A1 3rd Gen features the largest woofer in its class, delivering deeper bass with a Bass SPL of 64dB, 2dB more than its predecessor. Stereo pairing is available across 2nd and 3rd-gen models, allowing for a larger soundscape. Bang & Olufsen says battery life of the new model now extends up to 24 hours, while retaining existing features such as a three-microphone array for calls.
Built with a modular architecture and designed for a 10-year lifetime in its first useful lifecycle, the A1 3rd Gen applies circular design principles. This modular Bluetooth speaker is the first in the world to be Cradle to Cradle Certified® (Bronze Level). This ambitious certification aims to support a serviceable, upgradeable, and repairable approach to product design. An IP67 rating certifies the 3rd-gen Beosound A1 is fully dust and waterproof.
The Beosound A1 3rd Gen is available now att Bang & Olufsen stores and www.bang-olufsen.com.
