Klipsch is expanding its partnership with Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey with the introduction of a limited-edition portable Bluetooth speaker designed for collectors and movie enthusiasts.
Limited to 2,500 units worldwide, the Klipsch x The Odyssey Limited Edition Speaker serves as official merchandise for the film while showcasing the company’s portable audio lineup. The release follows Premium Audio Company’s announcement last month that Klipsch and sister brand Onkyo are serving as the exclusive promotional audio partners for the highly anticipated Universal Pictures release.
“The Odyssey is a story of adventure, resilience, and discovery—qualities that resonate deeply with our brand,” said Dave Gans, Global Vice President of Marketing at Premium Audio Company. “This collaboration gave us the opportunity to create something that not only celebrates an epic cinematic event but also delivers the powerful, immersive sound Klipsch is known for.”
Rather than simply applying movie branding to an existing product, Klipsch gave the speaker a distinctive aesthetic inspired by the legendary sword of Odysseus. The enclosure features battle-worn finishes, hand-distressed detailing, brass accents, and custom artwork intended to evoke the look of an ancient artifact from Homer’s epic tale.
Underneath the custom exterior, the speaker is based on Klipsch’s Music City Series portable platform and includes dual 1-inch full-range drivers paired with passive radiators. Bluetooth 5.3 provides wireless connectivity with a range of up to 40 feet, while an IP67 rating offers protection against dust and water for outdoor use.
Klipsch rates battery life at up to 20 hours on a single charge. The speaker supports 18W USB-C fast charging and can also function as a power bank via reverse USB-C charging for compatible mobile devices. Additional features include Broadcast Mode, allowing users to connect as many as 10 compatible Klipsch speakers simultaneously, along with EQ customization and firmware updates through the Klipsch Connect Plus app.
The Klipsch x The Odyssey Limited Edition Speaker carries a suggested retail price of $499 and will be available through Klipsch.com and select authorized retailers while supplies last.
