Tivoli Introduces SongBook And SongBook MAX Premium Bluetooth Sound Systems

The newly redesigned SongBook and SongBook MAX feature a 70's and 90's inspired aesthetic

Tivoli Audio has unveiled the newly redesigned SongBook and SongBook MAX, providing users with a performance-driven portable Bluetooth sound system. Both products are now available for preorder.

The new SongBook has been resurrected and redesigned with 70’s and 90’s inspiration.

“The first edition was a tiny, single-speaker travel radio. Over the last five years, it is apparent that Bluetooth speakers are still popular and continue to grow globally. I have always been turned off by the wide range of inexpensive small Bluetooth speakers, which offer a bare minimum audio experience for a low price. Our next Bluetooth backed products, I knew we had to do something premium, powerful, stylish, unique, and most importantly, a performance to impress,” shared Designer & CEO of Tivoli Audio, Paul DePasquale.

“We will always ensure our product designs have the Tivoli Audio aesthetic. These products are embracing the future,” stated DePasquale.

The new SongBooks feature a new sound system, designed to be both compact and powerful. A carry handle aids portability, and a built-in lithum-ion battery will power the SongBook for up to 10 hours. Fast PD charging is possible using USB-C (cable included and supports 5V, 9V, and 15V).

The tactile experience of the SongBooks is further enhanced by the vintage inspired controls and the satisfying feel of the analog equalizer sliders, providing users with a hands-on and immersive interaction with the sound system. Both models have Bluetooth 5.3, a 1⁄4”/ 6.35mm auxiliary input and support built-in pre-amp (perfect for guitarists, turntables, or anything that needs an extra sound boost). They have a power toggle switch, line/amp toggle, source knob, volume knob, and Lo / Mid / Hi EQ adjustment sliders (+6/-6 dB for each range).

In addition to the Bluetooth the SongBook MAX includes FM radio and DAB+ (in the available market), a tuning knob, five radio presets, a radio scan button, and a built-in preamp.

“For the design and inspiration, I started to dive into 70s product designs from kitchen appliances, electronics, and audio. In addition to this, I wanted the product to feel like something I would have loved to have growing up in the 90s. Adding the analog approach to the equalizer, power functions, and sources brought to life a familiar joy in user experience, which is simple and fun,” shared DePasquale.

They look clean-cut and simple, but behind the beautiful green and cream/brown casing is serious potency and zest. Allowing you to hear the details in melodies, ballads, and beats. The SongBook has a 3.5″ full-range driver, a 3.5” woofer, and two 40-watt amps and weighs 6.7 lb. It measures 12 x 9 x 5 inches. The SongBook MAX has a 4″ subwoofer, a 4″ midrange driver, a .75” tweeter, and two 50-watt amps and weighs 11.5 lb. It measures 15 x 11 x 6 inches. These retro-styled sound systems will impress and entertain for years to come.

“We set out to design a modernized powerful product that people need for their backyard and patio, pool, and of course, it is suitable for any room in the home. But not only that, it is great for a music studio, skatepark, creative space, outdoors, and more,” he said.

The new SongBooks are a premium Bluetooth Sound System and are available in a stylish cream/brown and green. Both products are now available for preorder.
