TADL Launches TAD-ME1TX Bookshelf Speaker System

New system features a CST driver used in TAD's higher-end speakers

Technical Audio Devices Laboratories (TADL) has announced the newest addition to its Evolution Series of hi-fi speakers: the TAD-ME1TX bookshelf speaker system. This new model replaces the TAD-ME1, introduced in 2016, and introduces a a newly-developed tweeter in the Coherent Source Transducer (CST) driver that features a beryllium diaphragm manufactured using TAD’s proprietary vapor-deposition technique, the same used in TAD’s higher-end speaker. Inherited from its predecessor is the already-proven Bidirectional Aero-Dynamic Slot (ADS) port design. The TAD-ME1TX bookshelf speaker system is available in a classic black and “silver white” finish.
