KEF Launches Two New Colorways For Its LS50 Series

Both the LS50 Meta and LS50 Wireless II are now available in Moss Green and Sand Shell

KEF has announced that it has launched two new colorways for its LS50 Series of speakers: Moss Green and Sand Shell. Both the LS50 Meta and LS50 Wireless II are available in these two new finishes. KEF says that this expansion is an extension of its ‘Soulful Minimalism’ design theme.

The company says that Moss Green was developed to represent balance and restoration, and is intended to evoke an atmosphere of calm and stability. Sand Shell is an off-white, with KEF saying it chose this soft, muted tone to match any living space.

Both the LS50 Meta and LS50 Wireless II feature KEF’s Uni-Q driver, and are constructed with the company’s Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT). The development of MAT was spurred by a need to eliminate internal distortion, and the company claims that this maze-like structure absorbs 99% of unwanted sound to deliver greater clarity and realism.

Moss Green and Sand Shell finishes are available now on the LS50 Meta and LS50 Wireless II for $1599.99 and $2999.99, respectively.
