Windsor Leaves Audiobahn

Brea, Calif. — Audiobahn confirmed that car stereo veteran Ray Windsor has left as its GM to form his own consulting company called Leadership System Consulting, based in Laguna Nigel, Calif.

Windsor, a car audio veteran of 27 years, has held senior management positions at companies including Eclipse and Clarion as well as Audiobahn. He said of starting his own company, “This is something I’ve been thinking about for about four years … It was a very difficult decision to leave Audiobahn … I have a great deal of faith in the company.”

Windsor will be replaced by Rick Anderson, senior VP at Alphasonik, an Audiobahn brand. Anderson will assume the new title of Audiobahn executive VP.

Audiobahn recently confirmed it will no longer sell car audio or car video head units, but will focus on its core business of selling car audio amplifiers and speakers, said a spokesman.
