Wilson Launches 5-Band Indoor Cellular Booster

New Orleans –
Wilson Electronics unveiled a five-band 4G/3G in-door cellular-signal booster
promoted as the most affordable five-band model to date.

The AG
Pro-Quint, on display here at CTIA Wireless 2012, is designed for professional
installation and will retail for a suggested $1,799 when it ships to dealers in
the third quarter. It amplifies signals on all carriers’2G and 3G networks as
well as on the 4G networks of AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. It boosts signals
in the 800MHz, 1900MHz, and 1.7/2.1GHz AWS bands and in the separate AT&T
and Verizon 700MHz LTE bands. It will deliver up to 75dB of gain and supports cellular
CDMA, GSM, LTE, HSPA+ and WCDMA technologies.

The device,
about the size of a small textbook, improves cellular-signal coverage in
buildings up to 80,000 square feet. It can be paired with a variety of Wilson
inside and outside antennas.

Via the AG Pro-Quint’s LCD display and
push button controls, installers can optimize the gain on each of the five
frequency bands for the location where the booster is installed, Wilson said.

Like the
company’s other signal boosters, Wilson said, the new model features cell-site
protection to prevent interference with other calls going through a cell site.
