– Walmart.com is providing free shipping for most CE purchases over $45.
The promotion,
which begins today and runs through Dec. 19, excludes iPads, freight items and
products sold by third-party affiliates.
Qualifying
purchases will be delivered direct to customers within three to five business
days after processing via standard shipping. Return shipping is also complimentary,
although online orders may also be returned at Walmart stores.
“Our customers are stretched for time and
dollars this season and we want to give them incredible shipping savings on the
gifts they want most,” said Joel Anderson, president/CEO of Walmart.com.
Earlier this month
Walmart announced
on 100,000 items under its HomeFree program, while
is providing free shipping on its entire 400,000-SKU online assortment
through Dec. 27.
