Irvine, Calif. – Toshiba debuted its first consumer-aimed Pocket PC for retail called the e310. It features a 3.5-inch TFT with 240 x 320-color resolution and runs on an Intel 206 StrongARM processor.
The unit has a sleek design, weighs less than 5 ounces and ships with 32 MB of RAM and ROM.
The e310 has a SD slot and a Windows Media Player 8 for audio playback. Toshiba claims the unit has an extended battery life about 10 hours longer than existing Pocket PCs. The e310 is shipping now at an estimated price of $399.
