Fort Worth, Texas
– Electronics Expo president/CEO Leon Temiz has joined the board of the
Progressive Retailers Organization (PRO Group).
The New
Jersey-based A/V specialty dealer has been a member of the buying group since
Temiz founded the company in 2003.
In a statement,
PRO Group executive director Dave Workman said, “Leon Temiz brings a wealth of
industry experience to the board, and I am sure we will all benefit from his
deepened involvement in the governance of PRO Group.”
Temiz joined
fellow PRO directors George Manlove of Vann’s, Walt Stinson of ListenUp, Rick
Souder of Crutchfield, Bjorn Dybdahl of Bjorn’s and Murray Huppin of
Huppin’s/OneCall, effective April 1.
