Oxnard, Calif. – Scosche
Industries has added a backup battery to its
model kickstand case for iPhone 4.
The new Swithback Surge
G4 boasts an internal 1,800mAh lithium-ion battery capable of charging a
depleted iPhone 4 to up to 80 percent capacity, making it the ideal case for
power-intensive applications like FaceTime and watching videos, the company
said.
Scosche’s accompanying, free Revive app
provides detailed battery information.
Four blue LED lights
indicate the Surge’s battery life and the included micro-USB cable allows for
easy recharging and synching the iPhone 4 with the case on. The case will
provide an additional 275 hours of standby, up to 12 hours of talk time, up to
36 hours of audio, up to 9 hours of Wi-Fi, or up to 9 hours of video, Scosche
said.
The Surge includes two
interchangeable polycarbonate backs, in gloss black and metallic silver, and is
available now at $79.99.
