Samsung Techwin Intros HD Surveillance Line

Ridgefield Park, N.J. – Samsung
Techwin America today unveiled a new series of FullHD analog video surveillance
products.

The new lineup features
an HD-SDI 1,920 by 1080p box camera, an HD-SDI 1,920 by 1080p dome camera and a
four-channel HD-SDI DVR.

The HD-SDI technology
enables transmission of uncompressed and non-packetized digital video signals
with zero loss of image data and zero latency when viewing, Samsung Techwin
said.

The SCB-6000 box camera
and the SCD-6080 dome camera each have full 1080p resolution and are designed
to be integrated into existing standard-definition video surveillance systems. Features
include true day/night (ICR) functionality, SSNRIII (3D and 2D) technology, and
RS-485 and 24-volt AC or 12-volt DC capability.

The SCD-6080 has a
3-8.5mm (2.8x) lens while the SCB-6000 can use a manual or DC auto iris lens
with C or CS mount.

The Samsung four-channel
SRD-480D DVR delivers real-time recording at 720p HD resolution for each
channel with 1080p FullHD resolution recording support, according to the
company. In addition to H.264 compression technology, the SRD-480D also has a
de-interlace function to help delineate the edges of moving objects. Audio can
reportedly be recorded on all four channels, and the SATA hard disk drives (up
to 2TB) allow DVD-RWs and USB devices to be used for archiving.
