Novato, Calif. — Roxio will ship a VHS-to-DVD converter to dealers next month.
The Easy VHS to DVD is a USB device with S-Video and composite-video inputs for capturing analog video sources.
Included software lets users edit video, apply filters to improve video quality, as well as add transitions, titles
and effects. It provides for DVD authoring with personalized templates and creative menu options.
The device and software can also output video to mobile devices and online video-sharing sites. It can capture audio from tape and LP players while the software will automatically split LP audio into individual tracks.
The Easy VHS to DVD will retail for $59.99.
