Dublin, Calif. — Pandigital officially launched its 15-inch digital frame today.
The unit, the largest from the company, was previewed at last month’s Photo Marketing Association show.
The PAN-150 features a 1,024 by 768 resolution display, 500:1 contrast ratio and 178-degree viewing angle. It accepts the popular memory card formats and offers 256MB of internal memory.
In addition to JPEG images, the frame can play MPEG-1/-4 and AVI video clips and MP3 audio files through built-in speakers.
It ships with a remote control and black wood and cherry wood interchangeable frame. It is wall mountable.
The frame ships this month for a suggested $299.
Next month, Pandigital said it would provide details on battery, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth accessories for its frames.
