Palo Alto, Calif. - Hewlett Packard announced on Aug. 26 its lowest priced handheld to date called the iPaq h1935.
The new iPaq carries a street price of $199 after rebate and uses a Samsung 203Mhz processor with 64MB of Synchronous SDRAM and comes with an SD slot. It is similar to the h1940 (at $299) minus Bluetooth and with a slower processor. It features the same transflective 240x320 TFT screen and runs Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC Professional Edition.
Other features of the iPaq h1935 include 16MB of flash ROM and removable 900 mAh Lithium-ion battery. The h1935 is shipping at a street price of $249 with a $50 mail-in rebate available through Jan. 31, 2004.
