Englewood Cliffs, N.J. — Former Sharp Electronics sales senior VP Steven McNally was named sales and channel marketing VP for LG Electronics USA, replacing Bob Perry, who left the company last fall.
McNally will be responsible for leading the company’s U.S. sales and channel marketing efforts for flat-panel displays, digital audio/video products, portable navigation devices, computer monitors and optical drives, among other consumer electronics products. McNally will be based at LG’s North American headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, N.J.
McNally had served at Sharp Electronics for the past five years, over which time he had been responsible for managing and implementing multiple aspects including the strategic development, product planning, sales and inventory management and restructuring.
A Sharp spokesman said a replacement for McNally has not been named.
Before joining Sharp, McNally worked for Toshiba for 12 years, over which time he held key sales and marketing positions, including national accounts VP. McNally started in the consumer electronics industry as a sales representative at Panasonic in Canada.
