Irvine, Calif. — Logitech today added to its MetroFi line of Ultimate Ears by Logitech earphones.
The MetroFi 170 and MetroFi 220 noise-isolating earphones are engineered to create a “magic” seal between your ear and the outside world, dramatically limiting ambient noise, Logitech said. Both the MetroFi 170s and the 220s provide 16dBs of noise isolation, the company said.
Features include three silicone ear cushions, a titanium-coated speaker, a red-colored right earphone to help distinguish between left and right earphones, and a pocket-sized carrying case, Logitech said.
Designed for the iPhone and BlackBerry, the MetroFi 170vi and MetroFi 220vi earphones offer a miniature high-performance microphone that lets users easily switch between making calls and enjoying music and video on your iPhone or BlackBerry, the company said.
Suggested retails for the MetroFi 170 and the MetroFi 220 are $49.99 and $79.99, respectively, while the suggested retail for the MetroFi 170vi and the MetroFi 220vi earphones are $59.99 and $89.99, respectively. Availability is scheduled for February.
