Kodak Launches Playfull Pocket Video Cam

Rochester, N.Y. –

Eastman Kodak

launched Friday the latest edition of its pocket video camera line — the Playfull
waterproof model.

The device is said to fit its target of providing pocket video
cameras that are both affordable and enjoyable to use.

“Today’s consumers are looking for products that offer worry free
simplicity while meeting the needs of their active lifestyles,” said Phil
Scott, Kodak digital capture and accessories marketing VP. “A video camera
should be easy to use, convenient to carry, and designed so you don’t worry
about it regardless of where you are. That is why the new Kodak Playfull
waterproof video camera is small enough to fit easily in a pocket or small purse,
it is waterproof so it is always with you for those unpredictable moments and
it’s affordable.”

The camera features Kodak’s exclusive Share Button and pop-out
USB arm to easily email videos directly to friends or upload to popular social
networks and photo-sharing sites.

It can also record up to 10 hours of HD video with the expandable
SD/SDHC card slot that can hold up to 32GB.

The Playfull will be available at leading electronics and imaging
retailers this fall in several color and memory options, including black with a
4GB SDHC card for a $120 suggested retail, and in red or white for $100 without
the SDHC card.
