Las Vegas – Iomega entered the USB drive market with the introduction of its USB Mini Drive.
Iomega’s initial entry is comprised of a 64MB drive and a 128MB drive with suggested retail prices of $69 and $99, respectively. The company expects to start shipping a 256MB version next year.
The Mini Drive will be available at Fry’s Electronics and Micro Center in December, with general retail distribution expected during the first quarter of 2003.
