HTSA Social Media Webinar Set For Aug. 13

Barrington, Ill. — Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA), the buying and marketing group for CE dealers, system integrators and custom installers, will hold its third social-media training webinar next week.

Digital Marketing 201 is a specially designed program for HTSA members that will serve as a follow-up to the group’s Marketing Summit II. The new training will be offered in two sessions on Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. EST/8 a.m. PST, and at 4 p.m. EST/1 p.m. PST.

The interactive training session will run approximately 45 minutes with an additional 15 minutes for questions and commentary. For those who were unable to attend Marketing Summit II, the webcast will review that event and recap many of the best practices that were shared, while diving deeper into advanced Internet marketing and social-media strategies for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.

“HTSA is dedicated to providing powerful insight and strategic direction that can help our members better utilize digital opportunities and social media,” said HTSA managing director Bob Hana. “Our industry as a whole understands that social media and Internet marketing are driving factors for growing one’s online reputation and visibility. HTSA Marketing Summit and webinars, such as these, are designed to build upon the basic knowledge our members and vendors are already familiar with, while helping to expand their digital and social expertise and uncover new opportunities for both sales and business growth.”

The online presentations will provide a review of all the tips and best practices necessary for interacting with an online audience, HTSA said, including            an in-depth look at content generation; tips for integrating valuable keywords across online marketing initiatives; a comprehensive checklist with advice on how best to optimize social profiles for maximum search and exposure; and an in-depth look at how best to leverage LinkedIn and YouTube.
