HP Intros Wireless Ready Notebooks

Palo Alto, Calif. – Hewlett-Packard today introduced several wireless-ready Pavilion notebook computers and the company’s first wireless home networking solution.

The Pavilion zt1000 and ze1110 notebooks each come with optional embedded 802.11b and Bluetooth capabilities. The notebooks are available through HPs configure to order program at the company’s online store and retail kiosks. The zt1000 cost will range from $1,399 to $2,099, while the ze1110 will start at $1,099. The zt1000 can handle either a DVD/CD-RW or DVD-ROM drive. Other specifications were not available.

The HP Wireless home networking line up features several 802.11b based devices including the hn200w wireless gateway, suggested retail price $199, hn210w USB network adapter, $129, and hn220w wireless LAN PC card, $119. All are available at retail.
