Marine and outdoor audio specialists Wet Sounds have announced the upcoming launch of the Wet Sounds Portable wireless speaker, in collaboration with Eleven Engineering. The new speaker utilizes Eleven Engineering’s SKAA wireless technology for high-fidelity audio. SKAA provides long range audio without the need for a network, and is able to navigate environments with heavy Wi-Fi and Bluetooth traffic.

The Wet Sounds Portable speaker can deliver up to 126 dB of sound, and features an IP67 weatherproof and dustproof rating for outdoor environments. Customizable LED lighting is integrated into the speaker for ambiance, and a built-in handle provides easy transport.
The Wet Sounds Portable is available for preorder, with shipping expected to begin February 10. Priced at $699.99, the Wet Sounds Portable is currently available for a special preorder price of $649.99.
