Harrisburg, Pa. – D&H
Distributing will host its 21st New England Technology Show on Aug. 11 at the
Boston area’s Quincy Marriott hotel.
The show will run
from noon to 8:30 p.m., with exhibits opening at 3 p.m., and is expected to attract
500 attendees from this region.
More than 60
exhibitors are slated to participate, D&H said, among them Hewlett-Packard,
Lenovo, Toshiba, Acer, Asus, Logitech, Kensington, SanDisk, Sennheiser and
Dealers can attend
educational seminars from industry leaders on the latest technologies,
including a session from HP on the TouchPad and the new WebOS. Registration is free for D&H dealers,
retailers and e-tailer customers.
The distributor is
holding a Tablet Demo Zone where attendees will be able to try six tablet
models from D&H’s partner vendors, including offerings from Acer, Asus, HP,
Lenovo, Toshiba and Samsung. Customers
will rank different models as Most User Friendly, Most Stylish, Most
Innovative, Most Economical, Most Versatile and Most Enjoyable tablet devices
of the show, the distributor said.
The show will also
host an HP TouchPad Demo Theater, where attendees can observe this device’s
various features in action via a large-scale projection screen that mirrors the
participating in the Boston proceedings for the first time include new D&H
partner Sophos, the developers of mobile security solutions; plus KB Covers,
LG-Ericsson, Sony Ericsson, Planar and Vu TelePresence. D&H’s trade shows
are sales-focused events, so attendees will receive floor-only discounts. Door
prizes will be offered including a grand prize of an HP TouchPad.

location in one day.”
