CEA To Hold Industry Conference In San Francisco, October 15-18

ARLINGTON, VA. — The opportunities of the digital age will be explored at the 2000 Consumer Electronics Association Industry Forum & Fall Conference. Produced by CEA and co-located with the Parks Association Forum2000, the conference will be held at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, Oct. 15-18.

Subtitled “Leading Edge: Seizing Opportunities In The Digital Age,” the event is designed to provide attendees with insight into the digital future and the tools they need to be leaders in the consumer technology marketplace.

The three-day gathering will include educational sessions, CEA member meetings, and the CE Industry Marketplace, featuring as many as 20 tabletop exhibits by sponsoring companies, the association said. Industry Forum attendees will receive discounted admission to Parks Associates Forum2000.

Parks Association Forum2000 focuses on the business and technology-based product opportunities emerging from the rapid penetration of the Internet into U.S. homes. Featured speakers are from the industries creating new IP-based services, systems and user devices — including security, computing, broadband access, controls, entertainment, home networking and community intranet services.

Registration through Sept. 8 is $149 for CEA members, $275 for non-members. For online registration, visit www.ce.org/events. Or for more information contact CEA at (703) 907-7600 or e-mail [email protected].
