North Reading, Mass. - Bowers & Wilkins is sponsoring a contest whose winners are invited to small VIP sessions in which they can interact with musicians and listen to their music over Bowers & Wilkins speakers.
The VIP sessions, called Bowers & Wilkins Sound Sessions, are promoted across music blogs, websites, artist pages, Twitter feeds, Facebook, YouTube, and other media.
Participating artists also promote the sessions through their social media platforms. Fans are directed to register on a Bowers & Wilkins landing page,
, to win a pair of tickets to Sound Session events and receive a pair of Bowers & Wilkins P5 headphones.
The first Sound Session, featuring British rapper Tinie Tempah, includes access to the rapper's album release party celebrating his U.S. debut album Disc-Overy. The event will be held in New York City on May 17.
Bowers & Wilkins is also in talks with other artists to participate in the events.
The events are designed to "bring together all elements of the listening experience -- listener, music, speakers, even the artist -- to create, in essence, the ultimate listening experience," said Tyler Fairchild, strategic brand development director.
