Ridgefield Park, N.J. — AgfaPhoto kicked off its third annual international AgfaPhoto Multicontrast black-and-white photo contest last week with the theme “Insights into the Human Condition: Body Language.”
The contest is open to both professionals and amateurs and runs until August 12. Contestants can enter the competition at www.agfaphoto.com/bw-competition.
Prizes will be awarded for the top dozen photos. First, second and third place will receive cash prizes of 5000, 3000 and 1500 euros, respectively. The next nine winners will each receive 500 euros.
AgfaPhoto will also display the top three winning photographs worldwide on the packaging of its Multicontrast photo paper for one year. All 12 winning images will be featured on a large format calendar for 2006 and displayed on AgfaPhoto’s Web site.
