CEDIA Expo 2026 will feature a series of exhibitor-sponsored sessions on its Smart Stage, with programming focused on technology trends, business challenges and opportunities for residential integrators.
The Smart Stage programming will run September 2-4 on the show floor. Sessions will cover topics ranging from AI and large-format displays to energy management, outdoor living and light commercial integration.
One of the Wednesday sessions, “Beyond the Big Screen: Video Walls and the Rise of Extra-Large Displays,” will examine applications for video walls and large displays, including large living spaces, sports lounges and dedicated media rooms. The session will also address installation considerations, viewing distances, and how integrators are approaching these projects.
AI will be the focus of another Wednesday session, “When Smart Homes Get Smarter: AI Enters the Rack.” Josh.ai CEO Alex Capecelatro and Savant executive vice president Craig Spinner will discuss how AI is being applied to AV, security and control systems and what the technology could mean for system design.
“As AI moves from something people talk about to something clients expect in their everyday lives, integrators have a real opportunity to lead,” says Alex Capecelatro, CEO of Josh.ai. “The most exciting applications of AI aren’t about replacing the expertise integrators already bring to a project. They’re about making homes more intuitive, personal, and responsive, while creating new ways for integrators to deliver value to their clients.
CEDIA Expo is an important place to have these conversations, share what’s working today, and help the industry understand where things are headed next. I look forward to speaking on this and other AI topics at CEDIA Expo 2026!”
Other Wednesday sessions will address energy management in smart homes and the growing outdoor living market. The latter will bring together speakers representing outdoor structures, enclosures, comfort, and control to discuss how integrators can approach complete outdoor systems.
Thursday’s programming will include a session on immersive entertainment experiences and another focused on expanding residential integration businesses into light commercial projects. The latter will examine opportunities in restaurants, fitness facilities, retail stores, and offices.
