Tempe, Ariz. — Rockford Corp. appointed Vince Hormovitis to the newly created position of managing director of business development for power sports.
In that role, Hormovitis will focus on marketing Rockford’s 12-volt brands to the marine, motorcycle, RV and ATV markets.
He has 25 years of experience in the CE industry and was most recently with Sony, where he held multiple positions in Sony’s mobile electronics group.
The power-sports channel “is an important one for Rockford,” said president/CEO Bill Jackson, and Hormovitis “has extensive knowledge of these industries.”
