The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) recently announced Harrell Design + Build CEO Lisa Sten, CR, CID, UDCP, has joined the association’s North America-based industry advisor team. An award-winning designer, contractor, and CEO, Sten will share insights, experiences, and connections as an NKBA Global Connect Advisor.

Besides Sten’s role as CEO of the Mountain View, CA-based design and build firm, she is one of the company’s premier designers. Sten’s particular areas of expertise include custom product design, design/build, marketing, sales, installation, and distribution. Her projects and dedication to design excellence have been recognized repeatedly by local and regional NARI Awards, National CoTY Awards, National Chrysalis Awards, NKBA, and other professional design associations.

“NKBA Global Connect is fortunate to have such an accomplished professional as Lisa Sten join its Advisor team,” said Geraldine Morrison, Chief Partnerships Officer, Domestic & Global Brands, for NKBA. “Her deep knowledge across a wide range of topics in design, construction, and business management, plus her keen understanding of the market and the consumer base makes her a superb addition to the program, and an invaluable resource for our Global Connect members. Our strong team of Global Connect Advisors is one of the most important assets of this exceptional program.”

NKBA Global Connect is designed to help manufacturers understand business practices in the North American kitchen and bath sector, reduce risk, and prepare for successful entry into the market. Access to industry experts, proprietary NKBA market data, North American design and construction insights, VIP events, and networking programs give NKBA Global Connect members a unique view into the market before they commit to launching. It is designed to facilitate discussion on conducting business and participating in trade development events in North America and, conversely, in Europe and beyond for North American brands looking to extend their global footprint.
