Cheryl Clendenon Joins NKBA’s Business Development Program As Advisor

Clendenon's expertise to aid NKBA Global Connect's guidance for manufacturers

The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) has announced that award-winning interior designer and business coach Cheryl Clendenon has joined its team of North America-based industry advisors. NKBA Global Connect is designed to help manufacturers understand business practices in the North American kitchen and bath sector, reduce risk, and prepare for successful entry into the market. NKBA Global Connect Advisors are key to this preparation sharing insights, experiences, and connections as part of the process.

In addition to owning a design and retail firm on Florida’s Gulf Coast, Clendenon offers business coaching and marketing strategy services to creative entrepreneurs. Through her company, In Detail Design Collective, she shares her expertise in design, strategy, salesforce development, branding, and marketing, honed over two decades in the sector, to help elevate the business side of the interior design industry. She writes a monthly column for a leading design publication and contributes to other industry outlets on a regular basis. In addition, Clendenon, who runs her own retail showroom, has first-hand knowledge of what manufacturers need to know in order to service showrooms as well as design professionals and consumers.

“Cheryl Clendenon is an outstanding addition to the NKBA Global Connect advisory team,” said Geraldine Morrison, Chief Partnerships Officer, Domestic & Global Brands, for NKBA. “Global Connect Advisors offer keen insights to our Global Connect members exploring entry into the North American market. Cheryl so generously shares her wealth of experience to help improve interior design businesses, and her dynamic, forthright coaching style will be invaluable to our members who want to learn about the nuances of the North American market.”
