BSH Hausgeräte GmbH (Bosch), has recently appointed Gerhard Dambach as the new CFO and Labor Relations Director of Europe. Dambach will also be a member of the Board of Management, with responsibilities over for finance and the North American region beginning on September 1, 2019.
Dambach has worked for the Bosch Group since 1993, and holds a Ph.D. in industrial engineering. He is succeeding Johannes Närger, who retired as of June 30.
Most recently, Dambach served as CEO of the Italian Bosch subsidiary and oversaw the Italy and Greece regions. He is currently the President of the German-Italian Chamber of Commerce.
“Gerhard Dambach is a successful manager and seasoned businessman with many years of international experience and great expertise in commercial business management,” said said BSH-CEO Uwe Raschke in a statement. “I am very much looking forward to working with him on the Board of Management.”
