He will focus on “marketing and elevating” the company’s consumer TV business and will develop marketing and promotional strategies for the Hisense and Sharp TV brands in the U.S. He will also be responsible for the marketing and promotion strategies behind Hisense home appliances, which include refrigerators, air conditioners and small home appliances. He reports directly to Hisense USA marketing VP Mark Viken.
Most recently, Kern was Panasonic’s group marketing director. Before that he was director of digital marketing at Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America (SEMCA).
Kern has more than 25 years of experience in consumer electronics campaigns.
