D&H Distributing co-presidents Dan and Michael Schwab were named the 2015 recipients of the Torch of Liberty Award by the National Consumer Technology Board and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
The honor, which is presented annually to outstanding citizens whose work has helped enhance their industries and communities, will be bestowed at the ADL’s 2015 National Consumer Technology Dinner on Nov. 7 in New York.
They follow their father, D&H CEO Izzy Schwab, who received the groups’ American Heritage Award in 2006.
Joining the brothers next Saturday night will be American Heritage Award winner Patrick Lavelle, president/CEO of Voxx International; Patricia Rienzi Legacy Award winner Debbie Schaeffer, president/CEO of Mrs. G TV Appliance and Sleep Center; and Congressman Darrell Issa, who will receive the David Feir Humanitarian Award.
