Salamander Designs introduced a dealer-support program for its new line of flat-panel TV mounts and home entertainment furniture. The program includes a new Salamander mount display kiosk, designer packaging for the TV mounts, new Salamander “Design Centers” and a Salamander Design Center dealer program. Salamander said it created the program “to assist its dealers with unique tools that help increase sales, streamline dealer-customer transactions, and provide customers with an engaging, value-added shopping experience.” Benefits of the design center dealer program include priority listing in the dealer locator on Salamander’s Web site, a dealer biography page on the Web site, and access to exclusive offers and promotions.
Chief Manufacturing said it would be discontinuing its line of CMA columns and replacing them with equivalent-length CMS Speed-Connect versions. The manufacturer said the CMS columns can be ordered at no additional cost, and that anyone who accidentally orders the CMA columns will be contacted.
