Economist/pundit Charles Krauthammer has come up with an interesting proposal that would solve the Cypriot banking scandal and open Apple up to new investment opportunities.
On Fox News he suggested that Apple simply buy the entire island for the cost of the bailout. The first payment of about $13 billion is due in April. Krauthammer said this equates to about a quarter of Apple’s available cash, so it is eminently doable.
