Nationwide Buys Its Digital Services Provider

Site on Time joins the buying group’s bandwagon.

Nationwide Marketing Group, the $18.5 billion buying organization for independent dealers, has acquired Site on Time, which has provided its members with website development and related digital services since 2011.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded 11 years ago by Jennifer and Greg Danko, the Gainesville, Ga.-based business also provides e-commerce solutions, search engine optimization and marketing, and social media management for Nationwide’s appliance, electronics and home furnishings dealers.

“Site on Time has been a great partner,” said Dean Sottile, who helps lead the group’s e-commerce, online and distribution initiatives. “Jennifer and Greg … are a perfect fit for our team as they too have made it their mission to provide progressive products and services that enable the independent channel.”

Added chief technology officer Jennifer Danko, “The decision to join the Nationwide family was a very natural and easy one for us. Integration into Nationwide will allow us to leverage the most advanced technology and will enable investment in the further development of both the website platform and digital marketing capabilities we put at the disposal of Nationwide members today, and into the future.”

The acquisition follows last year’s merger of Nationwide and Mega Group USA, which created a supergroup with some 5,300 members and 14,000 stores.
