Secaucus, N.J. – Now less than 30 days from delivery on
its recently announced pair of 3MOS HD camcorders for 2010, Panasonic released
product pricing Wednesday.
said the HDC-TM700 and
the HDC-HS700 will be available mid-April for suggested retails of $995 and
$1,399, respectively.
Both camcorders feature a 12x optical zoom lens, and have the company’s Intelligent
Resolution Technology to extend the effective zoom range to an 18x Intelligent
Zoom without image degradation. Other common features include: up to
1080p video resolution at a 60 fps (or 60i or 24p), 14.2-megapixel digital
still shots and gyroscope-based Power Optical Image Stabilization.
The 3MOS image sensors render more professional-quality colors
and sharpness of video images.
The camcorders are differentiated by storage format: The HS700
uses an internal 240GB HDD to record images and video, while the TM700 features
32GB of internal flash memory. Both models also have card slots for
SD/SDHC/SDXC expandable flash-memory cards.
