Alviso, Calif. – Joining Roku,
also revealed Tuesday that it has reached an agreement to add the
streaming TV show service to its
connected DVR devices.
TiVo announced said TiVo
Premiere subscribers will have access to the Hulu Plus streaming TV show
service, with access to both current and past TV shows, including “Glee,”
“Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Office,” “The X-Files” and “Arrested Development.”
TiVo said the new offering will help round out its assortment of
both live TV and Web entertainment, available through one box.
TiVo Premiere users can access live TV, and movies on demand from
services including Netflix and Amazon On Demand, music from Rhapsody and
Pandora, and Web video from Hulu Plus and YouTube.
The Hulu Plus channel will be available via subscription to all
TiVo Premiere customers in the coming months.
