DALLAS — Samsung Telecom is moving from the cellphone business into the portable MP3 player business.
The company launched a wearable MP3 player that syncs music via a direct cable connection with the big-screen Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II.
The $49 pebble-shaped Muse, which lacks a display, syncs via an USB-to-3.5mm headset- jack cable. Syncing requires the installation on the phone of a free app from Samsung Apps and the Google Play marketplace.
