HARMAN Luxury Audio Group today announced that Audio Design & Automation, a high-end audio retailer serving Salt Lake City, Park City and the surrounding Intermountain West, has been named the premier dealer for the JBL Summit Series, the newly completed five-model line of ultra high-performance loudspeakers designed for the world’s most discerning listeners.
Audio Design & Automation joins a select group of dealers nationwide chosen to represent the full Summit lineup: Summit Everest, Summit K2, Summit Makalu, Summit Pumori and Summit Ama. Each is engineered with JBL’s most advanced acoustics and material technologies and named for a peak of the Himalayas.

Audio Design & Automation: Four Decades in the Making
Founded in 1987, Audio Design & Automation has built its reputation across the Salt Lake City and Park City markets on JBL Synthesis home cinemas, two-channel audiophile systems, and a level of “white glove” service that has earned the retailer a five-star Google rating. Its roots trace back further still, to a family-owned television and audio repair shop where its ownership first learned the trade as a teenager.

Audio Design & Automation will introduce JBL Summit to its clientele with an invite-only listening event the second week of October at its Salt Lake City showroom. The evening’s centerpiece will be a live performance by a classically trained pianist marking the release of her debut recording, performed through a system made up entirely of JBL Summit loudspeakers, at the request of the pianist’s husband, a longtime Audio Design & Automation client sponsoring the event.
