Xthings has launched its Ulticam IQ line of AI security cameras, complete with free cloud recording on a rolling 7-day basis. The indoor/outdoor camera features 4K resolution, and Gemini-powered “understanding” of scenes and events for home security.
Xthings says that Ulticam IQ’s “Intelligent Scene Analysis” provides real-time identification of objects, behaviors, and locations, and creates detailed event descriptions. Daily summaries are delivered to users, such as “In the past 24 hours, 2 high-risk events were detected between 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.”
