Middle Atlantic Leads Power Training at CEDIA 2017

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – Aug. 24, 2017 —

Middle Atlantic Products today announced that Scott Lowder, Middle Atlantic’s director of product management, power, will present a training course at CEDIA 2017, Sept. 7-9 at the San Diego Convention Center. The session, titled “Smart Devices, Intelligent Power: Ensuring Reliability Through Power System Design” will provide integrators with the understanding they need to develop reliable AV systems for their customers.

The two CEU course will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7. Lowder will outline why a stable power foundation built specifically for AV systems is a vital part of creating the experiences customers expect from their systems today. Attendees will learn the elements necessary to achieve reliable foundational residential power distribution and what technologies are driving the move away from a simple breaker box to the IoT-driven capability to monitor and control power needs.

Lowder leads Middle Atlantic’s growing power category and is an expert in converting market problems into powerful solutions that have been awarded multiple patents and serve the integration community. Prior to joining Middle Atlantic, he worked for ASSA ABLOY in the security solutions industry for more than 10 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Fairfield University, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Connecticut, and an MBA in finance and marketing intelligence from the University of Connecticut.
